With a high near 80 degrees on Thursday, we spent most of the day outside enjoying an early hint of spring...

Birthday Weekend

Harper had a great birthday weekend, involving lots of sugar, gifts, friends, and family.
On Friday, we celebrated with (l-r) Carrie, Josh (their boys Andre and Will not in photo, probably off pummeling Bozo) Matt, Heather, Jesse, and Jonah...Harper and Jonah investigated Mr. Potato Head...Ladybug cupcakes for dessert...

On Saturday, Gammi, Guppi, Jack, Gigi, and Granddad Ray came to visit...
Jack gave H a ride around the house...It was monkey cake for dessert...It was a cold weekend, but we had great fun regardless...

Two Old

"Two old!" That's how old Harper says she will be tomorrow. She opened a gift from Gammi and Guppi early, this great little wooden kitchen.

Spoons are overrated...
But not bracelets! A girl can never have too many...

It was a dinner too lovely not to photograph (delicious, too): Dutch oven bread, citrus/herb olives, baked Mediterranean shrimp, and molten chocolate cakes...

We finally met Lil' Snoop (aka Simon) on our short trip to Telluride. He's about as sweet as they come...

Harper couldn't leave the very tolerant kitty alone for more than a couple seconds...

It may be hard to believe, but there is no relation between Dave and baby Reece...We had a great time and wish we could have seen everyone we intended to, but those few days went by faster than anticipated. We were lucky to see so many of our wonderful friends, and thank you all for the hospitality!
